mobium reset-permissions

This tool on every surface: CLI · MCP · Python · JavaScript · Go · Java · .NET

Put permissions back to their defaults

The app prompts again on next use.

Name an app to reset only that app's. On Android each runtime permission it declares is revoked and the answers recorded against it cleared — including the "don't ask again" two denials leave — and read back; one the system or a device policy fixed is kept and named. Revoking a granted permission stops the app, as it does from Settings. With no app, every app on the device is reset.

Usage

mobium reset-permissions [app] [flags]

Examples

Put one app's permissions back to their defaults

mobium reset-permissions com.example.shop

More, from mobium reset-permissions --help

mobium reset-permissions com.example.shop # one app
mobium reset-permissions # every app on the device

No screenshot: it changes what an app may do, not what is on the screen.

The tool

reset-permissions calls app_reset_permissions; its arguments and what every client calls it are there.
