Check that the environment mobium needs is present, and say what is wrong with it. These call app_doctor.

Doctor​

func (d *Device) Doctor(ctx context.Context) (string, error)

Doctor checks the environment and returns its report.

Needs no device: its whole job is to be runnable when nothing works yet, so it is the first thing to call when something fails for a reason that makes no sense.
