This tool on every surface: CLI · MCP · Python · JavaScript · Go · Java · .NET

The crashes the device recorded — Java exceptions, native signals and apps that stopped responding — newest first, with the line worth reading first. These call app_crashes.

crashes

public List<Map<String, Object>> crashes(String app, int limit)

The crashes the device recorded, newest first: each map has id, time, kind (crash, native_crash or anr), app and summary. Not drained — asking twice shows a crash twice. Pass null for every app and zero for the default limit.

@param app only this app's crashes, or null for every app @param limit the most to return, or 0 for the default @return the crashes, newest first

crash

public Map<String, Object> crash(String id)

One crash report in full, by an id from crashes; the text is under text.

@param id an id from crashes @return the report, or an empty map when there is no such crash

Examples

List one app's crashes

List<Map<String, Object>> crashes = device.crashes("com.example.shop", 0); // 0: the default limit
for (var c : crashes) System.out.println(c.get("time") + " " + c.get("summary"));
