zoom
This tool on every surface: CLI · MCP · Python · JavaScript · Go · Java · .NET
Pinch two fingers apart or together, about an element or the middle of the screen. These call app_zoom.
zoom
public void zoom(String direction, String target)
Pinches apart or together, about an element or the screen. Pass an empty target for the middle of the screen.
Reports that the gesture was delivered and nothing more: neither
platform exposes a zoom level in the accessibility hierarchy, so
confirming a zoom means asking whatever was zoomed — a WebView can
answer with visualViewport.scale through eval.
@param direction "in" to pinch apart, "out" to pinch together
@param target what to pinch about: a ref or a locator, or empty for the middle of the screen
Examples
Pinch out, to zoom in
device.zoom("in", ""); // "": about the middle of the screen
The same call from the command line, mobium zoom in, printed on an Android 15 emulator:
pinched in about the screen at (540, 1200), fingers 160 to 640px apart — the gesture was delivered, which is all this can confirm: neither platform reports a zoom level in the hierarchy, so ask the thing you zoomed (a WebView knows its own visualViewport.scale)
