appearance
This tool on every surface: CLI · MCP · Python · JavaScript · Go · Java · .NET
Read the device's light/dark setting, or change it. These call app_appearance.
appearance
def appearance(mode: str | None=None) -> str
Read the light/dark setting, or change it and return the new one.
mode is "light", "dark", or "auto" (Android only; iOS raises). Dark mode is a different rendering of every screen, so a flow is worth running in both. Changing it discards the refs from the last map.
Examples
Switch to dark mode
device.appearance("dark")
The same call from the command line, mobium appearance dark, printed on an Android 15 emulator:
dark (was light)
