device_time

What time the device thinks it is, in its own zone — what a clock-dependent screen shows, and what a test of scheduling or a timezone change checks against. These call app_time.

device_time​

def device_time() -> dict

What time the device thinks it is: time (RFC 3339, in its own offset), zone, and clock — "device", or "mac" on an iOS simulator, which has no clock of its own.
